You may not think of workspace design as exciting, but I’m here to share that it can be. Case in point: the latest from BuzziSpace, freshly released at NeoCon 2022. The Belgian acoustic, furniture, and lighting brand pushed their goal of creating happy and healthy workspaces further than ever. We’re going to focus on five of their new products that aim to create more personal, sound-controlled spaces in the modern workplace. These aren’t your old open floor plan cubicles!

Care to venture a guess as to what inspired the BuzziChip? A Pringles chip! Soft, curved, and voluminous, the upholstered foam body of this lighting pendant absorbs excessive sound. Customize it in a range of fabrics and colors to highlight its playfulness or to tone it down according to your space’s needs. Choose from small, medium, and large sizes fitted with BuzziSol solo, trio, or quintet lights.

BuzziCocoon pulls double-duty as both a desk divider and telephone/privacy booth. Section off your work zone to create your own space or hang it on the wall for a place to take calls. BuzziCocoon creates acoustic and visual privacy with a simple solution that features an upholstered body. Pin notes, photos, and anything else you want visible to personalize it further.

A real showstopper, BuzziPleat Edel Long is a large-scale lightweight sculptural form designed by 13&9 Design. Suspend it from the ceiling or mount it to the wall to help absorb noise. The latest addition to the BuzziPleat family reinterprets smocking and pleating techniques used in fashion design to create its folded appearance. These in turn trap mid and low tones and keep sound waves from bouncing off of hard surfaces. Functional art.

Most office rugs don’t have a very thick tread for commercial purposes, but BuzziRugs aren’t most. A high pile gives the rugs the illusion of changing color tones, depending on lighting and where it’s been stepped on most recently. Use them to help define office zones without furniture or walls.

The brand’s first linear lighting solution is BuzziShield Light, and it features a fully upholstered core. Its curves are welcoming, while its voluminous body offering acoustic capabilities, it also has a dimmable light.
